Just got home from the hospital. My mother-in-law had knee replacement Feb 4 and unknown to everyone she had developed a blood clot and had had a pulmonary embolism early last night. It’s very touch and go as of right now and not looking to good/ It's just so heartbreaking. Please keep her in your prayers.

Thanks everyone. I’m so concerned about my son. He is so very close to her and he’s just devastated. He was with her yesterday during the day and said how happy she was despite her having a cold that kept them from going to church. Church is their thing, he walks her up each week to receive communion and she’s so proud of her boy as he leads the way. I pray she can make it through this.

I would like to thank all of you for your well wishes, sadly my mother-in-law passed away this morning surrounded by all eight of her children. She will be missed beyond belief and I’m so thankful to have had her in my life for the past 27 years.

i am so very sorry for your loss. I had not seen this post until a few minutes ago and was planning on adding my sentiment for a quick recovery until I saw your second post.

I know how hard it is for the entire family, especially since the situation was so unexpected. I know it is extremely devastating for your son but hopefully his Faith will help him through his grief.
