Default Cheap gas?

What's the price of gas in your area? We pulled int a Hess yesterday, and the price was $3.25, and, this was not for cash! Down the street we saw it $3.55...We were surprised. How is it in your area?

I believe it, the cost of oil is about the about the same all over the world the different gas prices are the result of tax. I think in Europe they treat it as a use tax. I think our price in Nor Cal is around $4 more for high test.....

Last year Americans spent over $13 BILLION for bottled water - most of which came from city water taps in Houston and Atlanta. These 2 cities are not exactly famous for the quality of their drinking water. (Then some genius says, "Yes, but they filter it between the city tap and the bottle."
Well, that makes it worth the $13 BILLION, I guess.

This $13 BILLION is more than Americans spent for gasoline.

Whenever I visit America, I love to watch nearly everyone standing in long queues, patiently waiting to pay $32 per gallon for Starbucks Coffee.
Starbucks isn't even very good, but everyone just stands there, waiting to pay a fortune for something they could make far better for just a few pennies at home.

If you are drinking tendy bottled water and Starbucks, please do not complain about the price of gasoline. You will get no sympathy from me.

I think bottled water is one of the biggest cons going, or it is in a country where perfectly good water comes out of a tap. Did you see my post about people even buying bottled water to boil in a kettle on a ship?
I like Starbucks & if I am out & about I regard it as my one pleasure of the week, I agree it's too expensive though, about 3 for a venti size here.

On Wednesday, there were stations west of St Louis with gas at $3.08 per gallon. Unfortunately I had already filled up in St Louis and had to pay $3.18 per gallon.

It has been fluctuating between $3.30 and $3.60 per gallon for the last two or three weeks in the Minneapolis area.

Take care,
Mike

I think I paid $3.29 a gallon last time I filled up. Not bad compared to what it was all summer.

Here in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada it's $1.179 per litre, which translates to $4.46 per US gallon.

Good job you don't live here in the UK then!! Fuel for our car is now a major expense. AND because of our location (no gas) we have to use oil for our heating just paid 600 to fill up the tank it should last 3/4 months maybe longer, but a few years back it was about 30% of that price.
