Morning Mates, it's Monday again, and I am looking forward to a short work week.
I have planned a visit home to Montreal later in the week, it will be quick, and I'll try to visit everybody I can, but the focus of this trip is to go see my favourite artist, Justin Hines who is perfroming there on Thursday night. Can't wait!
Pictou County is in mourning today, the remains found on a rural property on Saturday did turn out to be the 19 yr. old girl who's been missing for a month. Prayers go out to her family and friends and all who helped in the search, such a tragic outcome.
RD, I am sorry for that young woman and her family. I hope they catch the killer.
It's cloudy here this morning. I had a pleasant day off yesterday. Dad was sleepy and quiet most of the dad, so I got some reading in. I need to catch up on some chores today.
Typical morning for me. Was awakened by a call at eight and for most of the day I shall be, as the Italians say, "Stunod," which is comparable to our "feel like "crap" (I'll allow those who wish to change the word "crap" to a more widely used but unprintible term. Past being prologue I'll get some energy by around 3:00 pm at which time I'll get my oil changed in the car. I still don't have what it takes to get out on the lawn tractor and it might be Spring before I do. Seriously, I've got to attack that problem this week. I figured if I fall off the damned thing and "Mad Max" (my pet name for my ICD) kicks in, it immediately shuts down. I don't want to pull a Mike M and start running into trees, bushes or the neighbor's yards.
Word of advice. If you have a heart condition and you feel yourself starting to get a little dizzy, cough, as hard and as often as you can. By doing so you are giving yourself what amounts to one person CPR. I never have time to do that (I'm almost instantly in never-never land) but some people do, so file that away somewhere in your mind.
Hope everyone has a good back to work day and always remember, there's only four more to go until the.................. weekend!
Prayers and Blessings continue of course.

good morning mates, its a beautiful sunny day, hate to be at work type of day. Well after a full weekend of clearing debris, brush, trees, limbs etc, etc, our yard is starting to look like our yard again. Power is 95% restored to our town after a week. Thank you to the power companies and tree workers who came to massachusetts from as far away at Texas.
RD, so sorry to hear about the local girl. Prayers for her family & friends.
Todd, good to see you here today, but stay off that lawnmower! Spring will be here before we know it and you can mow then. Take it easy for awhile. I may try and give you a call later.
Hope LuAnne & Jim are having a good time in Vegas.
It is a beautiful sunny day here. D/H is out on the golf course trying to squeeze in as much golf as he can before the white stuff falls.
We were on the road all weekend doing square dances. Yesterday I did a presentation to a group of cruisers going in Feb. It went very well and everyone in the group seems very excited. Many 1st timers in the group.
Today I have done my office work and now will be heading outside to try and wrangle some of the leaves into a nice pile. I just can't believe how many leaves fall from 1 tree!
Everyone have a great day and prayers for all in need.
Good morning from Palm Springs, CA. Fatigue and Mother Nature conspired to force us to drop anchor here in the desert. Gave Ma Nature a chance to calm down and for us to rest.
