Well, I guess one of the last Sundays for the football season is upon us. Saw where Drew Bees and company did a number on Detroit last night. But there's still some stiff competition headed their way.
It's supposed to be a pretty dreary week this week in upper East Tennessee with only one day of sun through Thursday. At least it's not going to be frigid with highs in the mid to upper forties and one day in the mid fifties. They "predict" a decent sunny spell will commence at week's end. We'll see.
Who is the best bet for winning the Super Bowl? I don't watch much football although I have been watching more than usual of late.
Hope one of your suggested remedies turn out to work for you, Rollerdonna. I probably should only whisper this because thus far, it's been years since I've had back problems following three surgeries though I was told I'd continue with periodic mild to severe back pain. But it hasn't risen it's ugly head in almost eight years so here's hoping...
Am really looking forward to the Epic Cruise in March as I really do need to get away for awhile. I'm turning into a hermit. Have to chair a Humane Society meeting this week. It's surprising that in this economy, financial assistance to our precious animals has really increased as have donations to Kari's Heart Foundation. That makes me very pleased indeed.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday. Someday, I hope to get back to fixing large Sunday dinners, at least occasionally. Haven't done that since Fran died and I have a long way to go in that department as we were extraordinarily close. It's been fourteen months and I'm still not even close to. "getting there."
Prayers for those on the list and a requst for Blessings upon all of my beloved Cruisemates continue.

Good Sunday morning Todd and all to follow...
Well, it sure doesn't look like January here in Pictou County. What little dusting of snow we had is completely gone after yesterday's mild temps, and it continues today with 0C or 32F, it is like spring!
Today will be housework day, after not being touched for over 2 weeks, it needs a good cleaning! Took down all the Christmas stuff yesterday, so at least that nasty job is done.
I really hope to get started on that review I promised you all, it's just that typing really hurts and I can can only do a little at a time.
I plan to try some of your kind suggestions to relieve my arm of this constant pain - I'll let you know what works!
Lost my post in cyberspace. We pretty much have the same weather as Todd.
Birthday lunch for son-in-law at Logan's today. I usually have ribs, not going to happen using only my left hand. I never realized how everything is geared to righthanded people, including my recliner, even though my hubby is a leftie. I sympathize with him now.
Good morning. Bright and sunny and cooler. I liked the fog.
Not being a footb all fan, I thought the only football in January that counted was the Super Bowl.
A quiet Sunday here: no feral kittens to watch. They go wherever feral cats go.
Donna, I hope your elbow gets better. I had tendonitius in my left shoulder (I am left handed), and it took a long time to go away. Physical therapy was a great help, though, and they'll tell you what and what not to do.
Good morning mates. I had a wonderful day with my family yesterday. Had good food that I did not have to fix and excellent company. With all of the excitement I forgot to check the mail. I went out in the evening only to find a package from a friend of mine from another board. This friend lives close to Hershey, PA. He had a difficult 2011. He'd sent me chocolate and a lovely card expressing his gratidude in my support in helping him get through the year. It was the cherry on top.
Good afternoon from Virginia Beach where it is in the 40's today. I have been "under the weather" for most of the week and literally "dragged myself" to work. Chicken soup, or in the vernacular "Jewish penicillin" has certainly helped. We are going up to Herndon and Gaithersburg next weekend since Monday there is no work due to Martin Luther King's birthday. (I am just taking Sunday off). Hope that all of my fellow cruisemates are enjoying their weekend.
