Morning Mates, I can state my feelings about the Super Bowl with one photo:
Congrats to the NY fans....
This week has dawned cloudy and cold, with a temp of -10 and windchill of -18C or 0F.
I will be off for my indoor walk around the pool this morning where the temperature will be much more like the Caribbean...
Well, there's joy in New York this morning following one whale of a barn burner football game.
Think today will be my last day in "confinement" as they have to do a doppler procedure then hopefully I get sprung tomorrow morningl Thus far, I've lost 24 lbs. in three days so I'm a bit smaller .
Hope everyone has a great back to work day (with the usual exceptions such as Manuel, Ken, yours truly, Henry and a few others).
Prayers and Blessings continue of course!

So good to hear that you are doing so much better Todd. Hope you do get sprung from there soon.
It is a cool start to the day here with frost on everything. Temps are due to rise into the 50's again today with sunshine! YIPEE!! D/H has golfing in his plans while I am taking my Mom back to the Dr for the results of the CAT scan last week.
My oldest grandaughter is under the weather with a sore throat and itchy ears this morning. A visit to the Dr. for here is in the plan. She hates to miss school but we don't want her passing the germs around to the rest of the kidos.
Congrats to the Giants, winners of last nights big game. Sorry if you were wanting the Pats to win. Me I didn't have a favorite so it didn't matter. I'm just waiting for NASCAR to get started the end of the month. That is my sport of choice.
Everyone have a good day and prayers for all in need.
The game was a nail biter and I was amazed at some of the plays, the fighting and frequent hydration breaks. I'm referring to Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. That other game was OK too.
Good morning from the land of no Winter....so far. It's another 30 degree morning here and it is supposed to be cloudy with a high in the upper 30's with a chance of flurries. That's fine with me. We don't "have to have" snow. Just wait until April and four or five inches of a good soaking rain will take care of the crops.
Today is another doctor day. Back to the Ortho and see what the next step is in my recovery. It's been two weeks since I "further" injured the knee. We'll see if surgery is required or not. At this point I can't tell. If surgery is required then my March 3 cruise is canceled. If not we'll have to see if I can be rehabbed enough to bend my leg long enough for a four hour plane trip. It's never a dull moment. Tomorrow is endoscopy day. So one more day of eating bread (yuck) and then I can go back to gluten free.
Todd: I'm glad there is less of you and that you will be cut loose. Go home and take care of yourself.
I hope everyone has a great Monday and a wonderful week.
Take care,
Mike

Hi Kids,
Bright and NOT cold, so maybe a few errands before I settle and and bead for my 2nd shop.
I knew the game was not on our side, since there were no screaming, [in a happy way] by Bruce. On FB, my cousin's daughter said Madonna has been over, for a while...I posted back, gotta be an age thing...for an old broad, she did pretty darn good I thought!
Todd give em hell, and, scram...make your get away in time for a buffet somewhere.
Mike, I hope you make your cruise, and you will be doing the cha cha soon.
Big & little boys all over New England, are crying.Make it a good one.

Good morning everyone from Lawton, Ok where it is colder than Minn. Who would have thought.
The game was a very good one, and It is sad that the season is over with for this year. I am also now waiting for Nascar to get rolling down the track.
Yesterday was a good one. I finally got to see a Bison/ buffalo, and many other animals out in the open range. This is not a zoo, but a refuge, so you just drive down the highway, and keep your eyes open.
We also went to the Indian school, and hospital, and a place overlooking a mountain cliff, where the medician man would see patients. if he could not help them, he would encourage them to jump. I guess there was no second opinion back then. We also went to the Indian cemetary where Apache warriors and their families are buried, including Geronimo.
We ate lunch at a place called Meers which has been featured on the Food Chan, and GMA. It is an old minning camp, built into a mountain. The food was okay, but Good Lord, not as good as the hype.
Today, it is back to work for Jim, and back to the treadmill for me. I have to give up on the free breakfast served in the hotel. I bought food that I would normally eat at home, that I will eat in the room. I was just not feeling myself.
Good Morning All!
Well it looks like another foggy morning here. Glad d/h has been working from home lately to avoid the Superbowl madness in Indy. It has doubtlessly saved him countless hours of frustration from sitting in traffic going nowhere fast.
I am so very pleased with how our characters are developing in the show. I have only a couple rough spots with lines and we'll be ready for the curtain to go up a week from Friday. Yesterday's rehearsal was uncomfortable to say the least but it had become apparent it was time to "attack" the kissing scenes. OMG we all turned into a bunch of giggling, fumbling teenagers. (most of us are in our late 40's, it really was funny to watch.... in retrospect), somehow we made it through the awkwardness and did the deed (the kiss, lol) So then my "Husband" in the show was so proud of our choreographed snogging, he was then prepared to demonstrate it for the Director lol... The one I really feel for is the Lady who plays Desiree. Her Husband is the Director and so she has to kiss another Man while her Husbands sits and watches her and then tells them how he wants it done. OMG what have I gotten myself into? All I can say is these professional actors who say love scenes are no big deal.... they lie! Oh well what doesn't kill me, or give me strep throat makes me stronger...
Today I have several things on my to do list, at the top is laundry and groceries... I also need to find some lace up boots for this show... and a wig.... OMG it never ends lol. Oh well!
Good morning A cloudy day here today with much to do today so a little sunshine sure would nice to help me get started. I need to get to the gym and run my two miles to work off all the super bowl fun. I thought Madonna was very good during the halftime show.
BW…. Nice to see you post. RD……. Cute cartoon!

Good morning mates. It's a bright sunny morning here. One of my cats tortured me awake at 5:00am, which was too early for me and for the rest of the crew. I got up and fed the confused lot and went back to bed. So did they. I noticed one of my neighbors has jonquils (daffodils) bloomiming in her yard while I was walking the dog yesterday. We've not had much of a winter.
Good morning from the Pacific Northwest..........about 38 right now.........suppose to get up to 60.......4th day in a row........seems like summer.......
Trip.......I've been squiting & I think I'm in the tropics....... Cute pic of your sad fan...............
Mike......isn't it strange how things taste 'icky' when you don't eat them & then HAVE to eat them????
Todd...........glad to hear you're doing better.......
Beautiful day outside here in south Texas. Woke up to a lovely gift from a friend sitting in my mailbox - some hand carved wooden earrings from Thailand. Made for a great start to the day!
Todd, so good to hear you have taken off some of that water weight. I'm sure you'll be glad to be home soon.
Mike, I'll cross my fingers for you and say a little prayer that no surgery is required. I know you want to make that cruise in March.
Mike..hope things are progreassing well enough that you don't have to cruise.
Thanks Kuki: I know you just want me to stay home so you can take my place.
Just got back from the Ortho. Things are "better". I can lock my knee and lift my leg while laying down and I can bend my knee and move my lower leg back and forth. So no surgery for now. I start PT again and if I progress then there is no surgery and I get to go on the cruise. Final decision won't be until a few days before the cruise. It's driving me crazy!!!!! Net, net: I'm better but don't really have a definitive answer.
Take care,
Mike
