Morning Mates, I'm surprised we are still here this morning, because I thought we were going to blow away last night in the wind and rainstorm that hit overnight. It's still raging outside, and I am glad I am not walking in it today - in fact even driving might be a challenge, especially over the causeway!
The temperature is up to 14C already, 57F, so very mild, and everything is turning green.
Tuesday is aquafitness and TOPS. I am supposed to do a presentation on exercise tonight at TOPS, and I have decided to bring in my CD player, some lively music, and get everybody up and moving. BEat kind of exercise!
Hope all of you in the northeast pasth of this storm are doing ok, and wishing everyone a good day...
Donna: I hope that you don't end up fighting a witch over a pair of shoes.
It's a beautiful day here with temps forecast in the low 70's.
It's a prep day for us. My sister, BIL and her two pups are visiting for a week. I like having her visit because she's easy. She knows the house rule. "If you want something get it. All things in the kitchen, refrigerator and pantry are at your disposal." My sister has only one request and that is that I show her how to make Bacalhau (A cod and potato casserole type dish).
So a trip to Costco is in order to pick up some cod fillets. Betty's neck and arm is still hurting. I hope she gets to the root cause of the problem because she isn't doing better.
I hope everyone has a great day and that the rest of the week is a good one.

Good Morning Windy again with temps in the mid 50's, that would be ok if it wasn't windy. I read some great news yesterday or at least for me, Starbucks is now open at Disneyworld! I know when I’m at the park and right around 3:00 I could use a 2 pump non fat iced vanilla latte!!
Oh it’s the little things that make me happy
Mike... Hope Betty starts feeling better soon!

It is another beautiful day in central Ca, blue skies and heading for the 80s.
Tonight is an Eastern Star party. Those of us who will be officers next year are known as the Dragonriders of 2013. My DD will be the Worthy Matron and I will be the Worthy Patron. Our symbols are a dragon and a wizard.
For the party, we plan to wear our Renaissance garb. I have a delightful wizard robe and a "harry potter" hat, and a dragon to ride on my shoulder. DD has a costume with bat wing sleeves that I call Morgan Le Fay. Hopefully I can post some pictures tomorrow!
Nice mild weather here in south Texas today. Great day to get anything you need done indoors or out. If I had been feeling up to it, I would have been at the lake today catching Crappie (pronounced "Croppie"). The local fishing papers say they are running well right now and I know all their hiding places.
Had a potential heart scare with Mom, but turns out to be good news instead of bad. Looks like she's lost so much weight with her diet that she no longer needs one of her blood pressure meds. Yeah!
We were so busy with other things this weekend that we missed our towns annual "Cowboy Days" celebration. Cannot believe we did that as we always enjoy attending.
Went by my local country vet to pick up monthly flea pills for my dog..Found out the price has doubled!! That was quite a shock considering they were just $10 per month (six months ago). However, fleas out in the country tend to be ferocious so I will cough it up for my little gem.
Mike, the casserole sounds lovely.
Judy, I sure hope your Mom is going to be ok..
Blessings and prayers to all those under the weather (Betty included!)!!!
