Morning Mates, slept in a little later than I should, so will keep this brief...
Nice weather day today, stopped raining, brilliant sunshine, maybe up to 13C or 55F - I'll take it!
Nice evening last night, except for one thing....last year there was so much food we regretted having had dinner before going, so this year, we said, "no supper" we'll eat there....guess what? no food! just punch, wine, and some snack foods...so there we were, making ourselves supper around 9:30pm when we got home! ah, the best laid plans.....
60's with a drizzly start in NW Ohio. To get partly cloudy later.
Weekend will be really, really quiet. DD#1 & 2 will be out for DD#2 bachlorette party (yeah, I don't want to be there to help with the overdone ones!!!!) and DH is working both days 12 hours. Ugh. Too quiet for me!! Oh well, will have to find something to entertain me!
Had another couple of doctors appointments this week. Pretty much done with one and the other (DH) is a three month recheck.
Not much else going on. Hope all needing to feel better DO and the rest have a great day!
Luanne and Jim. Congatulations. I hope tha that you enjoy the occasion.
No rain here, we do need it but we are getting sunshine day after day.
We had a visit from Katlady and her DH yesterday and we a really nice time.

Seems to be getting hot hot hot very early in the year here in south Texas...I just hope it levels off.
Meanwhile..I saw an armadillo creep across my mothers front yard yesterday. He seemed to know just where the "hidden" hole in her fence was so he has been there before. There was a baby jackrabbit there (in the same spot) sneaking through the same hole just a few days before. Seems all the wildlife in the area know about that secret spot. Just seemed odd to see a wild armadillo just feet away from me (he couldn't see me as I was behind a door) creeping across the front yard in broad daylight. They are funny looking creatures.
I am finally home and no more care-taking from Mom. It is so good to be home. That's about all that I have going on at the moment..
Blessings and prayers to all of our sick Cruisemates.
