Morning Mates, welcome to Sunday, and what I hope will be a lazy realxing day....
It has dawned cloudy and cool, although it says it will be in the high 20's C with thunderstorms, so who knows...The other night it hit 38C or 101F, so we sure could use a break in the weather!
No plans today except for a roller derby meeting this afternoon, to decide on a team name and "take care of business" of starting up a real league team. I'd rather be skating.
Here's another photo of a pastoral scene on P.E.I.:
Good morning all! Beautiful day dawning at the Jersey Shore Humidity down and highs in the 80s.
US Airways got me a little irritated yesterday . They cancelled our original flight to Ft Lauderdale for our cruise in November so instead of a noon flight, we are now on a 4pm flight. To make matters worse, they moved Marj away from me. I am not mad at them for the changed seats on the first flight, as Marj and I are on separate reservations as I used FF miles for mine but they also moved her seat on the unchanged flight. Got it all straight after a while. Checking more frequently now.
Furniture and appliance shopping for new home today!
Everyone have a great day!!

Beautiful day here with the sun shinning and temps in the low 80's. Windows open and no A/C running again today. My sisters and I have a busy day ahead as we are going to try and plow our way through Mom's house and get as much done as possible while we can. We've done a little but still lots to go through. It has been both a happy and sad time finding things that brought back memories. That's life and I'm sure when my time comes to leave this earth my daughter and grandkids will have to do the same thing. I only hope that I have not left as much stuff as Mom did.
Everyone have a great day.
Good afternoon from Virginia Beach where it is beautiful outside, for a change. It has been raining, off and on for most of this week!. My younger daughter and her family were in town on Friday and Saturday. (they came down Friday night so the kids could sleep in the car). They left early this morning headed for Corolla, on the north shore of the Outer Banks, where they have rented a townhouse for the week, Traveling is a great thing to do with the kids; they learn and see so much. I have to be at work at 5:00 today, hours are down, C'est la vie.
