Morning Mates, it's another sunny day here in Pictou County, and nice and warm too, pleasant for October.
We have no special plans for the day, but might try to take Griffin for his first leash walk, that should be interesting!

This being Thanksgiving weekend in Canada, it is perfect for long drives to look at the fall colours. We will be doing that tomorrow when we go to our friends' for turkey dinner. I will try to get some fall photos for those of you who don't get to see that kind of thing!

Good morning mates. I've been up a long time. The battery on my smoke alarm wore down and started beeping early this morning. I got up and changed the bettery. We had a front move through. We now have temps in the 40s this morning. It feels good. I have no idea of what I'm doing today. I did the shopping yesterday and spent too much money on basic items. I always get sticker shock when I go to the store anymore.

Donna, have fun on that walk.

Good morning. I'm up and at 'em early. Already have the laundry started. I had planned a day of shopping, but I think I will save that expensive gas and look forward to tomorrow when I can go to lunch and the first play of the new season at the South Coast Repertory Theater.

The forecast here says it's partly cloudy with a chance later of some rain. I'd be interested to know where in the county the "partly" in "partly cloudy" is located as I've yet to see the sun.

Absolutely nothing on tap for the day. It has become just another "veggie" day and that doesn't bother me at all as I've returned to reading with a vengance and have three books going.

In closing, a repeat of Happy Thanksgiving to all of our Canadian family and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Prayers for you'uns on the list continue. Even if I don't mention that line anymore everyday doesn't mean there's been any substantive change, of that you may be assured.

Sunny and very warm here .Do I appear to be happy ?Yes ,I am .Is it because my Presidential candidate appears to be doing well ? Perhaps ,but I am happy because my friend who was critically ill and not expected to survive beyond last week contacted me today to say she is "fighting "to live each and every day .
