Morning Mates, I am excited it is Friday because I have had enough of work this week, it is a long weekend, and I have a meeting today with the head of the Y....I'm hoping it may be about a new job opening up at the new centre. Then again, I could be fired too, who knows? I'll keep you posted!
This morning I will forego my trip to the pool as Lucy the cat needs to see the vet. She has suddenly developed a huge swelling on the side of her neck/face and we have no idea what it could be. Wish us luck with that visit...
Trip, glad to hear Bruce is home and recovering, I'm sure you will be a great nurse.
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear of Lucy's problem. Hopefully it's nothing with which it can't be quickly and successfully dealt. Please Donna, keep us posted as too developments.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Sunny & bright and chilly...high 60's on Monday....I wish the great winter we had last winter, could be repeated for all those in the northeast who are suffering.
Bruce is feeling better, as I'm sure he will every day. I've already done one of his errands, off to Dunkin Donuts..boy whatta line! I hope this is the end of his ops..As Chef Matt Segal told me, he goes under the knife, more then the meat I butcher!!!
I have Lucy today, and she will be surprised to see her Papa home today.....!
Make it a good one. Donna, hope your kitty is ok...
Trip, with her book & tea!

It is a sunny day but it's cooler than normal. The temp. will only get in the low seventies.
RD, I hope that Lucy's ailment is only minor.
Have a great day folks.

Well, Miss Lucy has been hospitalized for the whole weekend, but a big "phew" that it is something treatable and not a tumour!
The vet thinks she has been bitten or scratched by the puppy, and has developed an abcess which needs to be lanced and drained over the next few days. I can't imagine how that happened because she doesn't ever let him get near enough, and SHE is the one who does the batting with her paws, not him, he just barks at her.
Anyway, the important thing is, it's treatable and we should be able to bring her home Monday...

Good morning. We had our first winter rain, but the sun is shining now making an attempt to dry out everything.
Donna, I'm glad to hear that Lucy will be okay.
Keith and I went to the worst play I've ever attended, and staring a well known actor, too. It was nothing but bad language. I think without the bad language, it still would have been a total bore. Fortunately, it was short.
