Morning Mates, I know 16 doesn't sound like much to most of you, but in Celcius it equals 60F, and that is pretty nice compared to what we've been having!
Yesterday I got some garden clean up done, but paid for it with back pain for the rest of the day. Will take a break from the garden and clean indoors this morning, then we're off to visit our friends with the puppies to hopefully wear Griffin out for the rest of the day.
My friend recently made a trip home to Montreal and came back with Montreal smoked meat (the best!) so that is on the menu tonight!
p.s. the size, font & colour are still not working!
We too are in for some nice weather here in the Windy City.
We have a Communion to go to today but with the mild temps I want to get outside and do some yard work but it will have to wait.
Happy Orthodox Easter to those who celebrate!
Hope everyone has a great day.

Going to be nice around these parts, tomorrow too. This weather means, changing the closets, a job I hate, and this year, has to be done in stages, for me....can't shlep the way I used to!
My Granddaugther and her boyfriend are coming over soon, to help us unclutter the attic. We may find Jimmy Hoffa up there. Our living room, will be the staging area, as we decide what to do with all our "stuff." Donate, toss, or the possibility of a yard sale..oy!
Donna, I always read with interest that up your way, people visit with their pets...that just doesn't happen around here..enjoy your day.
Make it a good one.
Trip, with her book & tea!

Trip, we visit with our pets because otherwise we wouldn't see each other!
We live 1 hour away from each other and can't leave our pups home for long enough to make a visit worth the trip. It certainly helps that we are both "dog people" and feel "the more the merrier"! Besides, it is great socialization for the pups, and what dog doesn't enjoy a ride in the car?
I hope everyone is doing well. Kuki, sorry to hear that the back is out of whack. I know that the golf withdrawal will be worse than the back pain.
I've been out of whack for a few days also. I had to get some work done at the hospital last week. It looks like my old nemesis, paracarditis, is back. Now I'm back on steroids (the most vile drug ever conceived). The chest pain is less and I'm doing my best not to eat the entire contents of the refrigerator or go postal.
I may join the family and go to Iron Man 3 today. I want to see the movie but I'm not sure I can sit for two hours.
I hope everyone is doing well and that the upcoming week is a good one.

A late good morning to everyone and happy Cinco de Mayo. Well, it's not a nice day here: overcast and cold. But that's not a complaint. Such weather is a great help to our hard working firemen. Fifteen houses were lost, some because some jackass tossed a lit cigarette onto dry grass.
It will be a quiet day for us. We will avoid all Mexican restaurants!
Kuki, Keith's back bothers him, too, but he thinks it will go away via magic. That must be the case, because he won't do anything else except take a pill.
