Morning Mates, I just realized I missed posting yesterday, guess I was in a rush to get out for swimming. Same thing today, off to swimming soon, then work, then tonight I am going to the annual Great Trivia Challenge. This is a big fundraiser for charity, composed of about 130 teams of 8 people, held in a big hall, with trivia questions, door prizes, a silent auction, and a constant stream of tasty finger food all evening.
My team came in 2nd place last year, this year we are hoping for 1st! If nothing else, it'll be good practice for shipboard trivia in only 11 days!
Good morning. Yes, thank God it's Friday. No surgery-related appts. today, just a regular day. Ahh! Keith had a bunch of 'em yesterday. I had a flu shot and got good news from the dentist instead of a gigantic bill.
We also were the guests of the Wright Flyer Project Manager for lunch yesterday at Brackett Field. That's a small county airport about 15 minutes from our house. A nice scenic drive to get there, and a hamburger and a pile of French fries. I watched the flight school pilots take off and land. All this while Keith and Fred talked about magnito switches. Never did figure out what that was!
Good evening from Virginia Beach. I did my normal routine of "cleaning the house and doing the laundry", today. Right now I am just relaxing while Rob is working at a fund raiser for multiple sclerosis. (Rob works the conscessions at the hockey games in downtown Norfolk). Hope that all my fellow cruisemates have a super weekend!
