Default Snowy Saturday

Morning Mates, it's another snowy blowy day, although it's supposed to be clear today before the Big One hits tomorrow. It is unusual to have so much snow here before Christmas, and the minus temps as well. It's going to be a long winter...

Today it's prepare for the storm day, stock up, make a big pot of soup, and just relax. Hunker down and hibernate....

Good morning Donna and others to follow.

To all of you in the path of the winter storm, stay safe and warm and don't go anywhere that you don't have to.

I remember this days of wintry and cold days but I don't miss them at all.

Have a nice weekend folks.

TM

Hi Kids,
Snow won't be starting here till later, probably like 6 inches. Time enough to get things done, and have a Chinese buffet lunch. I have a crockpot chicken and wild rice soup recipe, I'll begin and have it for supper with monkey biscuits, yum...

That's my dance card for today...make yours a good one.

Good morning everyone. It is cloudy and rainy here this morning. We will cool off, and hopefully dry up. I have big puppy prints made of mud, all though my house.

Jim is away for the weekend, so after I clean up the mess, I am going to curl up, and read. I downloaded several books last night, just for this weekend.

I hope everyone is well.

Luanne

Good morning everyone.

We are enjoying a getaway weekend. Betty was invited to her old company's Christmas party. So, we got a hotel near the venue and decided to make a weekend out of it. The only problem is that we had a good snow fall overnight and the roads are pretty nasty so we are just going to take it easy in the hotel. The only negative is that we forgot our bathing suits. Oh well, maybe we'll play in the Jacuzzi tub. We were lucky to be upgraded to a full suite and it has a whirlpool tub. Sadly, it's only large enough for one. Actually, it's barely large enough for me. I used it last night and overflowed the tub when I got in. I had to mop up the water. I guess I better go back to physics class and refresh my memory on "displacement".

So today, we'll probably watch some things off our DVR and take it easy until the party. The Dish Remote Viewing app is sure nice. We can remotely watch our "stuff", on the computer, anywhere in the world.

I hope all have a wonderful Saturday and a great weekend.

Take care,
Mike

Default Snowy Saturday

Good morning. Sunny and cool here in SoCal but heading for the 80's.

Keith just left for Riverside. I guess things are back to normal. He still goes to P.T. and is gradually getting away from using the cane.

I plan to do more Christmas shopping, this time for my 12-yr.-old niece. We're invited to an early dinner in Hollywood tonight.

Have a good day. Stay safe and dry.

Judy

Sharon..sort of my generic name for it...so easly, and they are devoured by everyone.

get grand biscuits and cut each piece into 4 to melted buttor or margerine, add some minced garlic and any spices you want..I added cracked pepper last night, but you could add oregano, parsley red pepper flakes too.
toss the pieces into the butter and toss thotoughly till all coated. put into a lightly sprayed pam bundt pan, and, bake at 350 for 25 minutes..tops should be brown. you could also add parmesan cheese to the tops a few minutes before they are done.
