Default Travel Insurance quetion (cruise)

I purchased Roam Right Ins. a few days after I booked the Oasis of the Seas several mos. ago as my husband and I have some preexisting conditions.
I just got off another cruise and that night (at home) I had a cardiac event that lasted 16 hours. I am currently under treatment for this. I am very concerned that this would occur while on the Caribbean Sea and the closest medical care is on a small MX island. Not even sure that it could be treated.
I would like to cancel my Oais trip which is 5 weeks away for safety.
Has anyone had any experience with them?
In all our years of travel we have only canceled one other trip for my husbands health issue and through another co. and it was a terrible battle to get a portion of the money back.
Thank you, Joyce

I've been doing this for over 15 years and I've never heard of Roam Right, so I can't respond directly about them.

But since every travel insurance company and policy is different, and policies change all the time, you really need to talk to your travel agent. They will have all the information associated with your specific policy. No one hear will be able to answer questions about the actual policy you purchased without reading that policy.

With that said, unless you have Cancel for Any Reason coverage, cancelling because of a 'concern' that something might happen is not a covered reason. You would need to get documentation from your physician advising you not to go on the cruise.
