Theme Nights

Hi we are going on a Costa Cruise 2-7 April. We would like to know how to find out if there is a theme night on our cruise? Thank you.

Typically you'll find a "country & western" night (where you don't see alot of participation) and Toga Night, which is a Costa tradition, and quite a large percentage of people participate. They'll leave a sheet and tying instructions in your cabin.

Yes there are several theme nights. Italian night, plan on wearing something red, white or green, it is also a casual night, and watch the waiters dance on the tables, and then conga around the dining room. In the main rooms they will have italian street fair with mask making, puppet shows. Of course there is Toga night, last night of the cruise. Stop at JoAnns or Michaels for some added finery to your toga (your steward will leave old sheets and instructions) Have not seen country western night since the Romantica was sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale. Hope you enjoy, we are on Mediterranea 2 and 9. It will be our 70th cruise on Cost. two happy people if I ever get the bags packed

Be sure to participate in Toga night! It was a fun evening and a large percentage of the passengers participated--we were on the Magica in March. You'll want to take something to wear under the toga (I took a white spaghetti strap camisole and white shorts). The International night with several areas of the ship themed with a different country was also a fun night. There was also a tropical night, so take your flowered shirt!

Yes Costa has Tropical night, red, white and green night, and Toga night. Do bring lots of cool gold jewelry and something white or nude to wear under you toga like a slip or short and a summer or tube top. They did the Venetian night too with mask making and body painting. Very active ships you should have lots of fun things to choose from to do. Don't miss the Gelato they serve it once in a while in the food court, if you see someone scooping it get in line it's not to be missed!
