What to wear on Costa Fortuna Western Caribbean?

Hi,

We're traveling on the Costa Fortuna Western Carribbean from 2/3 to 2/10, and we have some questions about the dress code.

We're told there are 2 formal nights, so we'll be doing the tuxedo/fancy dress thing.

Was curious about dress for dinner on other nights. Is a sportjacket generally worn or required? Does anyone wear shorts to dinner?

Never wear shorts to dinner, that is just a no go on any cruiseliner.
Just nice pants and shirt will do.

One night you will probably have a Toga party, try to wrap a sheet around you Roman style. Instructions will be given.
We had that on the Costa the last night. It was a hoot.

I will be sailing on the Fortuna on 2/10 to the Eastern Caribbean and from what I understand other than the 2 formal nights it is casual for the main dinning room. Shorts are not a good idea for the dinners. My DH will be in slacks and golf type shirts, sportcoat not necessary, for the nights other than formal. For the ladies slacks & tops, sundresses, are the norm. I had the opportunity to be onboard the Fortuna for one night in Nov. prior to it's first Caribbean sailing and I thought the ship was beautiful. I have a group of 60 going with me on this sailing so it should be loads of fun. We will be boarding as you get off so look for 60 people in yellow t-shirts. Have a great cruise! Also be ready for the toga night, I've heard it is a riot!

Just as a note,
this time of the year the Meditteranean can get chilly, take appropriate clothing.
