Baggage?

First time for a long cruise, and I'm a real heavy packer. So I thought I would use a large suit case and pack everything in space saver bags, and carry a large suit case empty on the cruise. Has anyone ever checked a empty bag? I know I will come back with more than I left home with?

I would reccommend getting a collapsable bag that would fit in your normal suitcase that you can just take out and use for the way home =]

Thanks I will check that out, but it might be fun to see everyones faces when they are throughing a empty bag!
But I really like the idea you have provided, if it will fit in my one case, after over packing it.....

Or, why not just distribute what you're taking between the 2 bags?
