Music for me...

I love dancing and having a good time and I LOVE to hear my favorite songs. Can I make a cd and bring it with me to give to the DJ. I know this might seem a little bold...but my boyfriend used to DJ and they are real people so I feel like he might enjoy having a little passenger imput. Does anyone know what kind of technology they use for the music? I'll be sailing on Enchantment of the Seas.

The DJs on the ships are world class, not just some joe off the street. It can't hurt to take a CD, but depending on the crowd, the DJ will favor whatever music that gets the most people out on the dancefloor. On my first cruise the DJ was playing a mix of hip-hop and pop, trying to feel the crowd. I made requests for some trance and euro-dance stuff and the DJ happily obliged.
