bartender job info?

I'm about to apply for a bartender job onboard. i was hoping to get some indication, perhaps from someone who has worked in a bar on one of the ships, as to the hours which the bars are open and how often they get port days off-duty.

I imagine the bars are open 24-7 for guests, does this mean bartenders would work a rotating roster or are you likely to work a set shift for certain periods of time. Also I have heard reports that a typical shift behind the bar would be anywhere from 12-16 hours. Is this the case?

Any help would be appreciated.
