Any Cruise Lines Doing Any Serious Hiring
 

I'm 23 with totally clean record no drugs crimes ant etc, about 50 college credits.

I been working a part time job for the past 4 years but want something different.

I was offered a job at NCLA a few years ago, but did not take it...I kinda regret it now lol.

I notice NCLA has not done any info sessions in Maryland in years.
I'm wondering if any other cruise lines are hiring a lot?

Is anybody having any success?

All the major cruise lines are actively hiring.
This year the international mass market cruise industry has a shortfall of around 75,000 employees. We are desperate to fill the gaps.

If you

Speak several languages
Have impressive international hospitality experience, training and knowledge
Have prior experience working on ships
Are willing to work 13 hours a day, 7 days a week for several months without a day off - getting paid $1 per day plus tips
Do NOT carry an American Passport - but do have another
Can pass an extensive drug screen test
Are willing to live in a windowless room that is smaller than a jail cell, with somebody from another country

then you are a shoo-in. Get those applications in the mail.

ALso, check the cruise lines' websites reguarly.
NCL did a job fair in SF recently and went to it. I am now waiting to leave. =)
