it's either 6 months or a year before you can apply again? You'll need to go through all the procedures as if you were a new-hire. If you've kept in contact with anyone who's become a Maitre'D or F&B manager, this is the time to contact them again . . . maybe they can put in a good word ????

PS - also helps if you gave your notice 30 days or more before you were due to come back . . .

I'd also advise to contact the hiring partner for your country

Hi Sir/Mam,

I am Jerry Roque dela Cruz, former Butcher at Oasis of the Seas, Royal Carribean Cruise Line. I resigned last June of 2014 due to some unfortunate events that happened in my life.

Two of my daughters died in a fire that happened in our home in Manila, after that tragic event I decided to take care of my remaining 2 daughters and my wife as well for she suffered severe trauma. Then the need for money made me decide to claim for my retirement benefit so I can start a small business in my hometown in Aklan and also to pay for my operation, my gallbladder was removed due to the presence of gallstones.

Now I am seeking for re-employment from your good office because I feel that i am now ready and able to work again and my wife can take care of my remaining children and the small business that I started.

i still prefer to work in Oasis of the Seas due to familiarity on the type of work and co-workers as well.

I hope yo would consider re-hiring me again and I promise to do better with my job.

Thank you so much.

Respectfully,

Jerry R dela Cruz
