Default Bacardi Aņejo Rum

I have some Bacardi Aņejo rum I bought in Puerto Rico. I'm not sure what the difference is between this rum and ordinary Bacardi. Does it lend itself to any particular drink recipes? Thanks.

Cheers,
Michelle B.

Bacardi Aņejo rum is aged 3 to 4 years longer than ordinary rum. It is as superior as fine bourbons.
Drink recipes that call for dark rum should be a good substitute. Research showed drinking the rum by itself is better, not to ruin the flavor with fruit juices.

Thanks Y2C. I know I should drink it straight - the same with the Bacardi Ocho Aņos I bought - and purists will be disappointed in me, but I just don't like the taste of straight liquor, even if it's smooth!

Cheers,
Michelle B.

Michelle,
I agree, never liked straight liquor neither.
