I think it would be nice for people to list their favorite restaurants at which they have enjoyed dining while in port. This way we can all share the lunch,dinner, or public houses that others might like to try while ashore.
Here are a few of my very favorites:
San Juan...................... Restaurante Baru (Fantastic Tapas restaurant)
Puerto Vallarta............ Mariscos Polo (Great Mexican seafood at moderate prices)
Victoria.......................... Matisse Restaurant (French)
Tallin, Estomia............ St. Petersburg Hotel (Five star outdoor dining)
Buenos Aires............... Senor Tango (Fantastic tango show with outrageous dinner)
Tortola-BVI's - Lunch-Stanleys- Cane Garden Bay . Best Cheeseburgers and Carib
Tortola-BVI's Dinner- Quito's -Cane Garden Bay-For the food and Quito's music.
Virgin Gorda- Mad Dogs -at the Baths . Best grilled sandwiches and the absolute best Pina Coladas made anywhere on the face of the earth.No mixes here. All fresh ingredients and each one made from scratch.
St Thomas- Evergreen- Faces the Harbor, downtown near Hard Rock Cafe noisy, casual, but good basic stuff. 2 for 1 drinks and appetizers in the early evening.
Ft. Lauderdale- Pusser's on the A1A. Just like being in the islands.
Lauderdale by the Sea, FL- Aruba(Aruba is the name of the restaurant)- Right on the Beach, nothing Fancy but real good and right on the Beach.
Hawaii- L&L Drive In-50 locations most everywhere. Genuine Hawaiin Plate lunch.
The most food for the least money.
Lahaina,Maui, HI- Old Lahaina Luau- most authentic and best run luau
I'm with Michelle for Pancho's Backyard. They have a second location at Puerta Maya where the Princess ships dock. Don't forget the coupon for a free margarita with lunch.
