Can anyone tell we what to expect from room service on the Conquest?
Is it a real limited menu?
Does it take forever?
I'm trying to plan a quiet, alone evening one night with just the two of us and the moon light.
Last I was on Carnival, it is mostly sandwich type stuff. Not any good dinner stuff. Mostly just for those that need a snack. But might have changed, has been 2 or 3 years since we have done Carnival.
I believe the room service menu is the same on all carnival ships. The menu is good for breakfast and lunch but not great for dinner unless you are looking for something simple.
Maybe you can fill plates at the buffet and take them back to your room for dinner.

On the trimuph I ordered room service 3 times. 1st time, coffee, was the in 5 minutes. Second time I ordered a couple of sandwiches at lunch, the in 5 to 10 minutes. Thrid time, ordered coffee at breakfast, around 8 am, and after 30 minutes I still haden't recevied it, so called and canceled.
We filled out the order form every night and it arrived on time each morning. We did order sandwiches one night and it took about 20 minutes. I think I have read somewhere, someone said you could write on the form if you wanted something different (eggs, etc) and they
would bring them to you. As long as it is during breakfast time, lunch time, or dinner time. I think I might try that on our Alaska cruise in Sept.
It was pretty fast, but limited to what you can order. Sandwiches and things of that nature. Probably not a good idea for a romantic dinner in room. Getting something from the buffet and taking it back to your room could be a good choice.

However, we did do our own version of romantic cabin dinner on a Carnival cruise. Ordered almost everything on the menu and just spread it all out and nibbled whatever appealed.
