No question about it; Regent Seven Seas. Quality ingredients prepared by capable chefs.

Yep: Food is subjective but my current rankings, of the cruise lines I've sailed, are:
1. NCL
2. Carnival
3. Azamara
3. Celebrity
4. Oceania
5. Princess
6. Holland America
and a distant 7th. Royal Caribbean.
NCL comes in first because of their specialty restaurants, variety and overall quality. I will say that their MDR's can be lacking.
Carnival is a VERY close second. I am amazed at what Carnival has done in recent years to up the quality of their food. Also their supper clubs provide excellent food choices, quality and preparation.
I hadn't sailed Royal Caribbean in four years because of mediocre to bad food but my wife and I decided to give them a try last February and they still disappointed us. Undercooked, overcooked, tough, hot things cold, cold things hot and poor presentation and ingredients all made it a very enjoyable food experience. The sad part is that their ships are beautiful and service is as good as any other line but they REALLY need to improve the food. It is now on my wife's "Do not sail" list because of the food.
Take care,
Mike
