Will be heading for Carribean and Panamal canal on the Amsterdam. Can I bring my own 2 bottles of scotch? Or is it better to buy it on board or in the ports of call. thanks. john.

The DFS on board (if our experience over the last couple of weeks on Rotterdam is any indication) will open for sign-and-carry. Certainly cheaper and less hassle than lugging it from home.

The price for two litre bottles of DeWar's was less than $20 on board.

If you want an in-cabin snort before the ship leaves the pier, put a couple of airline-sized miniatures in your carryon.
