Default teenagers

We are taking our 17-year-old daughter on a short cruise with us. It is not during a holiday and most teens her age will be in school. We are taking Carnival to the Bahamas. Will she be bored or will there be enough to do aboard the ship?

You might want to post this under another board on cruisemates. You've posted on the "cruise dress/packing" board. You'll probably get a better response under the Carnival Board. Go to message boards and then to cruiselines.

Sandy, try under the Carnival board for folks who have been on the ship.

At her age, I think she will enjoy so much on the ship -- shows, disco for teens etc

As a parent who took 3 teenagers on 2 cruises, unless your daughter is outgoing and makes friends easily, no offense to all but she will be bored and be hanging out with you guys which most teens dont necessarily want to do. The days are fine at the pool or at port but found many an evening wandering teen even when there were tons of teens on our cruises as they were during winter break. Even if she can find one other person to hang out with, her trip will be completely different. And definitely go on the teen site to see if there might be other teens her age going as well.
