How much to pack
Haven't been able to find a good packing list. Got lots of hints from posts here, but how much of everything do you need. How many times do you need a new outfit each day? aside from the formal nights, can you double up?

ladies, men and daughters, all suggestions welcome!

Re: How much to pack
I think the trick is to wear outfits that you can co-ordinate with other outfits. A good example may be to pick a colour scheme then go with that; for example I am packing a lot of beige. Several other colours go with beige. Shorts ,capris and pants can also be worn more than once. For formal wear, a good choice may be to bring one skirt that will go with several other tops or blouses. Picking one colour for formal wear will also eliminate several pairs of shoes in your suit case. Remember black shoes (the old standby) goes with everything. I hope I helped and have a great cruise!

One trick that's helped us is to assume you can wear shorts, capris, pants, skirts more than once--but don't underestimate the number of shirts/tops you'll need. While I often wear tops more than once in the evenings (unless I spill down myself, which happens more often than I'd like to admit), we are pretty active daytime people, and shirts do get sweaty! Either pack a lot of them or plan on paying for laundry.

Natalie check this URL out. If nothing it is a hoot. Of course you don't need to bring everything. I love to print it out and check off what I have with me.

Bon Voyage

Re: How much to pack
Bottom line for men (our guide for a 7-nighter): One suit, 2 pairs of dress slacks. Different shirts each night, with the 1st and last night shirts being re-qorn during the day. Daytime is 3 pairs of shorts, and about 5 fresh shirts. Throw in one pair of pull on shorts and a T-shirt to throw on when you get back from dinner. Oh and don't forget the swim trunks. Shoes: 1 snaker, 1 dress show, and flip-flops for by the pool.

Hope that helps.

Re: How much to pack
I'm a teenager and im not one who needs to be primping all day. I usually change 2 times through out the whole day. I had clothes on for the day.At about 5 or 5:15 i would go in and change for dinner for the 6:15 seating on the Triupmh. I would just stay in those clothes for the night. I always over pack knowing what not to bring.I hope this helps.

I'm a teenager, (I'll be 14 1/2 when we cruise) and I use a teen packing list my mom made for me. If you want a copy, feel free to send me an e-mail!

Re: How much to pack
try rolling up all your clothes tightly, this will give you more room in your luggage and believe it or not your things will have less wrinkles in them after you arrive.
