departure

hi I really liked the discussion on coolers. I did buy the one from Sams. Its roomy.
My real ? is what time do you have to be off the ship when the cruise is over? my flight
leaves at 8:00PM so we have plenty of time to hang about? Any ideas on storing luggage so we can roam around Ft.Lauderdale? Any info will be appreciated.

Hi,

Well if you're not far from the airport, I would probably get by bags checked in and then roam Ft. Lauderale. Just a suggestion. :-)

passengers start disembarkation around 8am on most cruise lines, you will most likely be off the ship by 10 am or so. I would suggest you book a day room at any of the hotels on 17th Street(really close to pier & airport)- store your stuff in your room, use the hotels facilities, you have enough time to grab a cab and go to the beach. Most cruise lines offer post-cruise excursion packages this might be an option also for you to look into.
