Default Iron

My wife and I are leaving Miami Saturday on the Triumph and we read somewhere they ship doesn't allow you to bring an iron on-board. Just curious to know what everyone does to rid of wrinkles in their clothes from the suitcase? We have a travelling iron that we're wondering if they'll allow us to carry on-board.

Any info would be appreciated.

Carnival has laundry facilities on their ships. Once it was directly across the hall from us. But we have been using Downey Wrinkle Releaser and it works great. Just spray it on, smooth out your clothes and the wrinkles are gone. I try to do this a few hours before wearing something or even the day before. You can find it in the laundry department of Target or Wal mart. We leave Saturday on the Liberty from Fort Lauderdale! WOO HOO!! Have a great cruise and Happy Thanksgiving.

Hi Matt,
Also another good trick for preventing wrinkles is to put those close in the plastic cleaner bags, no wrinkles. You will find irons and ironing boards in the self serve laundry rooms to use if needed, so don't bother bring a travel iron.
