Default New cruise question

We are sailing on the Celebration at the end of October.

How do the ladies keep up with their S&S cards? Not all my outfits have pockets and I hoped not to carry my purse on ship.

I understand no jeans or shorts in the dining room. Do capri's count as shorts?

Thanks. This site is so informative!

My wife carries these with her, Yasmena. If you do get one, just be sure not to get your Sea Pass too close to the magnetic clasp.

Get the SO to carry it.

Capris are not the same as shorts. You will see quite a few ladies wearing them, from casual to even dressy.

I carry my card in one of the following manners:
-pocket
-in a small camera bag that is usually with me anyway
-in a small bag similar to the YASMENA(cool bag BTW-thanks wraithe for the link), but with a thin shoulder strap
-and if I don't have a pocket and don't want to carry anything, I slip it into an undergarment that I am wearing-works just fine for money too...the folding kind anyway! lol

Same here. I have a small bag on a narrow strap that I use on board. In ports, I add money, a credit card and ID and slip it under my top. Would never give my SO my card, as we do not do everything together and he is likely to turn a different corner when I am en route to gift shop. Not that he would ever do that on purpose!

Default Thanks to all.

Thank you all for your advice. And thanks for the link, Wraithe.

This is the greatest site. You all are great. I am looking forward to our first cruise (with some trepidation because of my lifelong motion sickness.

Go to the casino and have them punch a hole in your Sail & Sign card and attach it to a lanyard.

Default lanyard

I've found that the lanyard always looks wonderful with my formal dress :-) (he he he he just kidding).

Default Thanks for the tips

Thanks for all the tips. I think I will take my lanyard for ship days and my smallest purse for excursions.

shore excursions - fanny/hip pack is the way to go
at sea days - bathing suit cover-up has pockets, shorts have pockets or the fanny pack comes with me.
dinner - 1- small casual purse, 1-small dressy purse
