Regarding laptops

What is happening with laptop confiscation and does it happen often?

Its not as you might think. TSA would have to have a pretty good reason to do it. The ship/Customs is not likely to care, either.

IIRC, you are driving to your cruise, no?..so no TSA to worry about.

I wouldn't worry about your laptop getting taken away. I always bring my laptop on cruises.

TSA will confiscate a laptop computer at the airport if you do not follow the rules.

If you follow the rules, there's no problem at all.

Or are you trying to get it confiscated so you can justify the expenditure to replace it with a better model??? ;-)
