Good Morning Gang,

Happy Open Bra/Bar Friday! and for those of us who still work for a living at three day weekend!

Tomorrow would be my parents 61st anniversary so we are going to have a cookout at my brother's house so Dad does need to spend the day alone. The DW is making her home made cannolis again - yum. My older sister was born on my parents 3rd anniversary but she will stay in CA and celebrate there.

We have a little car race in town on Sunday but I don't usually go around the 300K people who will be there. The rest of the weekend will probably be church, some yard work and maybe movie and of course a few visits with the Last Gang.

BTW: I guess this make me the last to post to this thread

The little town that I live in is nearly 200 years old .The anniversary of the founding is celebrated with a parade every year on Memorial Day weekend .

Good morning gang

Happy open bar/bra friday

Another day of nice weather is in the cards for us as well as for the long weekend. Of course I have been retired for almost two years so it's allways a long weekend.

Not too much in store for us this weekend. We will see a parade and take our neighbor out for her birthday. Her favorite place to go is the Foxwoods Casino, so we will do that on sunday.

Bob stay in touch with us and enjoy you time with your dad.

Henry, your town should have nice weather for the parade.

This weekend for us:

Today-shopping for clothes for me
Tomorrow-dinner with 2 other couples ,to a wonderful seafood restaurant with life music
Sunday- possibly a barbecue
Monday-parade

I never watched an Indy 500 race . About 25 years ago a co-worker was dating a guy who raced in Englishtown ,NJ and a group of us went to see him race .

My father played in the Immigrant Soccer League in NYC in the early 20's .He loved soccer ,loved to watch it on TV but for some reason I never played it .However ,my eldest granddaughter plays soccer and her team won the championship yesterday for 6 year olds.
