I start with many choices and narrow it down .I use Frommers,Fodors and as many other sites as possible .

I've only been on one shore excursion that was totally different from what I expected and it turned out to be great .

Good Morning Gang,

Things went well in the FILs surgery. He recovery is a little slow. He originally thought he would be discharged today, the DW doesn't think so. She may head down there later today.

We had a little snow yesterday and then watched Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer after dinner. Winter is upon us.

Bob I hope you FIL starts feeling better soon. Recovering from surgery can be hard.

Henry what ports are you trying to find excurision for? The research for me is part of the fun in planning a cruise. I love checking out the opinions and reading past guest reviews.

I have been to Labadee three times. We just relax at the beach, have lunch and a couple of times we took a little trolley that takes you to a shopping area where you can get souveniers and such.

I have only been to one of those ports before. St. Maarten we did a snorkel trip and have a nice time. When is your cruise?

Good morning gang

Happy open bar / bra friday.
We are getting our wall unit ready so we can set-up our TV. We have one in the guest bed room and will have another in master bedroom anf of course a bigger one in the living room. Brighthouse cable has a bunch of soccer channels and I have ( RTP ), from Portugal as well.

We are adjusting to our life in Florida quite well. I just went for a nice walk around the nieghborhoodand the weather is beautiful.

I have a cousin who lives in Maryland .Last year both of his parents passed away .They were snowbirds who lived in NY and also in Florida . My cousin and his SO spend time now in all 3 houses ,approximately 4 months in each .

My cousin retired last year .He was working in Washington DC nearly all his adult life and did not travel much . Now he is vacationing a lot but for the time being he likes having the 3 different houses to reside in . My thinking is that eventually he will choose the Fla home as a permanent one.
