Our Family is booked on the Cruisemates Senstion Cruise for 11/26/00. The final payment to Carnival was Due on Sept. 7th,,, as of today Oct. 2, they still have not tcharged my charge card for the balance.... Best Price Cruises says that things are in process, it can take a month since we have such a large group.(Cruisemates) I don't want to nag but I am getting nervous with it 7 weeks away and nothing confirmed for the final payment. Any others out there with the same story??

Forgot to mention in my prior post. I'm leaving next week hosting the CruiseMates cruise on the Millennium, and just to make you feel more comfortable; The Millennium group it quite a bit smaller than the over 500 we have on Sensation, and the final payment process for that one dragged on well past the due date as well, and it was a different agency.
I guess with larger groups the cruise lines allow some flexibility in the process.
We just called CruiseMates about the final payment for the 11/19/00 cruise, and they said since a large group of families are going, they are just starting to take out for the final payment. If we see that the final payment is not out by Oct. 19 to call them back. Starting to get scared too.

Just to be clear, u probably called the agent handling the group.. Best Price Cruises.
I'm sure everything will be fine. The group has grown so large, the general manager of the agency is cruising with us just to be sure!

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one worrying about this! I too am on the November 19th Cruisemates cruise, and my credit card has ALSO not been charged.
However, hearing that others are in the same boat (hahaha) makes me feel much better.

It's actually kind of funny. We'd all probably be delighted if just about any other bill got delayed.... but to pay for a cruise, we're in a rush.. lol

Your right Kuki, my charge card finally has been charge with the last payment. That is a relief. The final payment just came out the other day.

I wish mine had! I'm still hoping that it'll hit some day soon.
And you're right, Kuki, it's pretty funny that THIS bill is one I can't seem to wait to pay.

Well, here we are a week later... and my credit card STILL hasn't been charged.
Yikes.
I'm supposed to be cruising in 38 days, I hope that Best Price Cruises won't let me down.

Boo Hoo,,, think I am the only hold out here with still no payment made (countdown 27 days)
Called our agent with Best Price Cruises, she says, all is well, don't worry..but I can't let myself believe this is going to be OK til the payment is in Carnival's hands.
xx fingers that this is only temporary!
