Queen Mary II - Mediterrean tour

Hello, I'm french and i'm 18, I was on board on QM2 from 30th July to 11th August, and I wanna know if you was on board as me.
I had already been in a cruising of Southampton towards New York this
year, and I make the voyage each time with my girlfriend.
I was born in Marseille and I know Barcelona very well, but I did not knew
others Mediterranans ports, it was important for me.
I would like to have your opinions...

I was on the same cruise and thoroughly enjoyed it. Vigo and Lisbon were new ports to me, but I visited all the others plus Naples last year whilst on board QE2. I have always wanted to visit Marseille, but have so far not seen a cruise that calls there.

Oh English ... European, so I'm not alone !!
it's right Marseille is very beautiful, but if you wanna go on, I think you must wait a travel towards Greece, Sicile ... maybe on QE2) if not, Cannes is near Marseille (very nice the Croisette ).
It will be easier when the third Queen will sail ... !

Follow a guide in Barcelona .... Sagrada familia is hard to find for a first time in this city, and beware of the pickpockets too.
If not ... wait the people is far in front of you ... to take nice photos !
I was on board only with my girlfriend, it's a wonderful tour ...

My partner and I did a Mediterranean cruise on QE2 last year and did mostly full day excursions. It was exhausting (and expensive). This year, we did virtually the same cruise on QM2 and only did half-day tours. This gave us the opportunity to get a general feel for the places we were visiting and then allowed us to go back on our own to look at anything of particular interest. Must admit, though, on occasions after a bottle of wine with lunch, it was much nicer to stretch out on a steamer chair on the promenade deck and watch the world go by!

Thank you - my thoughts exactly. I love the ship so much some days I'd prefer to just stay aboard. I don't think I'll be going to Rome. That's a long day. Besides those half day trips allow you to be back on board for afternoon tea.
