Cruise Dress/ Queen Victoria

My wife and I are thinking of booking a cruise on Cunard and having never cruised with this line before we are wondering about cruise dress. We would appreciate comments, from past Cunard passengers, about their experience(s) with formal and informal night cruise dress. Our past cruises have been with Holland America, Princess, Carnival and Norwegian and our perception is that what was acceptable - say on Holland America, would not be on Cunard. I don't think you will find a dressier cruise line that Cunard. You can take your tux and your evening gowns and feel confident you will be perfectly in place with the rest of the crowd.
