Just got back from a weeks cruise on NCL Spirit. Had a fabulous time in a handicapped cabin. I am in a wheelchair, though I can walk a bit. The Spirit is generally handicapped friendly. But, and this is a big but, whoever designed the bathroom had no idea of how to do a handicapped bath.
The john was too close to the wall, not at the proper height and did not have the proper assist bars that are present in any handicapped bath. What it had was a flimsy plastic bar, screwed to the plastic wall by one screw. It wiggled and wobbled and would not have supported my 5 year old granddaughter.
