Default Houston-Galveston transportation?

Can someone help us find inexpensive transportation from one of the Houston airports to the Galveston cruise terminals? Renting a car and letting it sit for a week doesn't seem logical.

I read somewhere in these posts that Enterprize Car Rental rents out their cars for oneway to the piers. You might want to check this out with them. Also does you cruiseline offer any transfers from the airport to the pier?

My brother and I are leaving on the Elation in March and we were having the same problem finding a transfer from the airport to the port... Here is what I have found thru my research... please remember that I myself have not had any personal experience with any of these companies. (I actually paid for the Carnival tranfer last time I flew into Bush Inter)

bookcoachusa.com- They are offering a 2 for 1 special for transfers from the airport to the port. A round trip would be $59/person, but with the special it's $29.50... You will have to pay for the transfer before Feb 28th. Call to get the special 800 479 5287... Coach is the same bus lines that Carnival uses for their transfers, but I hear it is different and quicker

extremelegance.com- limo service that offers SUVs & sedans for airport transfers. Their 3/4pax suv from Bush is $100 + tip. From Hobby it's $90. I am pretty sure this is only 1 way.

info@cruiseshipshuttle.com- LJ with Texas Cruise ship Co will offer a van for rent for $125 + tip. This will hold up to 9 pax. This seems to be the best bet for the larger groups.

Again, I have never used any of these options. And remember renting a car is still an option. (not for me- I'm not 25 yet) Hope this helps everyone. Please post if you have any other recomendations or comments on these companies.
Thanks!
~K
