Since you are asking for questions.....

We will be going to Acapulco in March. We have spent weeks there, so we are really not interested in a tour. But recently someone suggested that we go to the Fort across the street from the pier and we have never been there. My question is about the walking. My husband is not able to do much walking, so I'm wondering if this will work for him. He would be OK if there are plenty of benches for him to rest at and we "have all day", so there would be no hurry.
What do you think???

There is not a lot of places to rest & the hike to get there can be daunting.
If you do go do not try to cross the road go down the street to the skyway bridge over the street.
It is cobble type walkways so that can also be hard going if you do not walk well.

Thanks for that information. We might just skip that for this trip.

The place is not conditioned for wheel chairs, you can take a taxi to get there but, the museum is divided in rooms that have not wheel chairs access at the entrance, 2 or 3 stairs to get in the room.

Thanks - he is not in a wheelchair though....just unable to walk long distances or walk fast.
From what I am reading, we will probably pass on this one.
Thank you so much for the answers, at least now we know!
