We're going on our first ever cruise - April 6 - Carnival Inspiration. We have a 14 yo Daughter and 12 yo Son. They are very excited, but hoping also to meet kids their age and have fun!!! Anyone else cruising this ship?

Hi! My wife and I just booked the April 6th Inspiration for spring break. We have 3 children (daughter 18, son 16, and daughter 6). Our second cruise and first on insprition. We will be driving down from Atlanta. Looking forward to the cruise.

We sailed on this ship two years ago for spring break. It is very elegant. This was the first cruise for our children, too. The biggest recommendation I can make for you is to make the boys go to the kids program. You sign them up when your are embarking (at least that's how it was done) and walk them there and introduce them to the counselors. Don't let them just hang out together or you'll be in for a LONG cruise.

We travelled with another family whose two boys (just aobut the same age) just hung out with my daughter the whole time, seeing movies, doing jigsaw puzzles in the library or playing games. Fun, but not a lot different than what they do when we visit at their home!

The next time we cruised she knew no one and I did the above, helping her break the ice. By the end of the cruise, we never saw her and she had made a ton of friends. One of them even looked her up on a trip to our city!
