Default Is the cruise water safe for drinking?

Hi there - I will be leaving on a cruise next weekend and am traveling with a 10 month old. Is the water safe for drinking (and therefore for making his bottles)? Or should I plan on buying bottled water and bringing it on the ship? We are traveling on the Celebrity Constellation. Thank you -

I've never had a problem with the drinking water, you should be fine.

Hi!
Just got back from a cruise with a 9 month old. I used bottled water - 2.50 on the ship. Did I need to use it? Probably not. Did I feel better using it - yes!

Have a good cruise!

We let our 16 month old drink the water on the Celebrity Mercury. She's 4 now, so I guess it was ok. .

The water on board the ships is processed and distilled on board....it is almost always safer than tap water at home! I have NEVER had a problem drinking the ship's water....and neither has anyone else I have known (including children and infants.) It does taste different because fluride and other additives are NOT added to the water.

Your call. I do buy bottled water for my kids, especially when making bottles for my baby who is now 2 years old. You can buy it from the bars (ask for big bottles) or stock up at a convenience store when in port.
Smooth sailing,
