I won a free cruise and paid for the VIP upgrade. I do not wish to go on the cruise anymore. You choose the date. Everything is inclusive if you look at the pictures it explains that almost everything is free except your activities in the bahamas.

Your spectacular vacation itinerary includes:
YOUR 2 NIGHT CRUISE:

2 Night Cruise for two aboard the Grand Celebration to Grand Bahama Island, with all your meals, entertainment and activities included onboard.
$50.00 in Casino Match Play valid aboard ship in the Par-A-Dice Casino.
AND YOUR CHOICE OF FLORIDA DESTINATIONS:

3 Days & 2 Nights resort accommodations in sun-kissed Fort Lauderdale, FL. with complimentary buffet dining for 2 adults. (3 meals per day per person).
OR

3 Days & 2 Nights resort accommodations in magical Orlando, FL. with complimentary buffet dining for 2 adults. (3 meals per day per person).
AND

You will enjoy 3 sun-drenched days & 2 nights on Grand Bahama Island at the spectacular 4 starGrand Lucayan Lighthouse Point
AND YOUR CHOICE OF:

7 Days transportation by Alamo or Budget Rent-A-Car while in Florida with unlimited mileage during your vacation.
OR

$100 gas reimbursement.

I'm sure this goes without saying, but I would warn anyone considering this to request to see a picture of the actual documents and read the fine print. Then check with the cruise company to make sure this 'free' package that was given away can be sold to someone else.

not sure it is free
Is this one of the time share scams where you get a free cruise but have to pay taxes & port fees?

good luck I would just cancel & see if you can get a refund

That was one of the questions I asked them when I was on the phone for 2 hours. She said the package can be transferable to anyone and payment could be handled independently. However, she did tell me that I could sell it through ebay or amazon, but this is not the case because ebay has a policy against third party sales on cruises. I cannot sell a cruise through ebay unless I am a travel agent or something or the sort.

Also I did research and found out about the timeshare scams, and the instances where people went to go on their cruise and had to sit through really long meetings about timeshare or things similar to that before actually getting to go on the cruise. From what I found this is NOT the case.

Anyone interested can log in to my account info and see for themselves. i'll try to screenshot it as well

I've seen these before and contrary to what they tell you, it more than likely is one of these timeshare deals. The Celebration is an old ship and only does two-night cruises to the Bahamas and back, spending one day in the Bahamas.

Good luck with selling it, but as LuLu said, I think it's best to just count your loss.
