Reporting from the INCREDIBLE Diamond Princess

Hi all,

We are in Ensenada, but just had to give a quick report on the Diamond Princess. Simply put ... it´s incredible. Truly beautiful and so mammoth! There are 5 restaurants to choose from ... last night we did the steakhouse. Tonight we are doing the Asian restaurant.

Get this ... our entertainer tonight is singer Sheena Easton! I know I will be dancing in the aisles.

The ship is class personified ... I thought the Star Princess was fantastic, but the Diamond outshines even her! We are definitely planning on taking a longer voyage on her again.

And don´t worry ... I have lots of photos to upload when we return Saturday.

We´re off to suck up some local color now (gulp-gulp) ... Cya later.

P.S. Hobie, I checked for you, and they do double odds on craps in the casino (which is incredible ... an African theme)

Thanks for taking some time out to give us an update Harry. I saw a few pics that someone took with their phone-cam. They are posted on the Cruise Critic website. It looks like an incredible ship and can't wait until May 8th!

Thanks also for answering the question about the Craps table. I have been on 10 cruises (never Princess) and not one of the cruise ships had double odds!

I may have a "last minute" opportunity to sail on Diamond Princess on April 17. I'm really hoping that it works out!

I look forward to hearing more from you and seeing your photos when you return. Right now however, go back to having a great time!
