We're cruising for the first time, on HAL to Alaska on June 15. Nowhere in all the helpful literature regarding packing and clothes can I find out if there are hangers provided in the closests aboard ship. And, will there be an adequate amount of hangers?
Can someone help me out with some information. Thanks.
We've been on 9 cruises so far and there have never been quite enough hangers, even though my husband and I always pack very lightly compared to other people. I finally bought 8 folding plastic hangers at a travel store which are very light and work beautifully for things that would normally slide right off, like silk blouses, things with wide neckholes etc. I am not talking about the kind you blow up to drip-dry stuff after you wash it, but rigid brown hangers where the hook folds down. They take very little space in a suitcase.
