Is there an ironing room on Amsterdam?

Going on Amsterdam for 30 daycruise Jan 2006, and I know I will need to iron some of the clothes I take after washing them.

Has anyone used the facility on Amsterdam please? The steward can arrange laundry or dry cleaning but I do not think you can ask them for pressing service if you are in a regular inside cabin.

Yes, there are irons and ironing boards in the self-service laundry rooms.

Evelyn - you can certainly ask your cabin steward to have your clothes pressed no matter what type of cabin you are in - inside, outside or verandah. Just tell him what you want pressed and he will look after it for you. There will be a charge, but it's not that much. Sometimes it's easier than doing it yourself.

Just a FYI... when we cruised Westerdam a few months back they offered a really inexpensive ALL you can use laundry package.

I can't recall the exact price, but it was reasonable, and we got to wear and pack all clean clothes.

Paul - when we were on the Westerdam last year it was $12.00 for a full bag of laundry. We thought it was very reasonable as we had stuffed it quite full.
