Hi Mountaindog,
How did your cruise go? The wife and I are scheduled for Jan 24th on the Oosterdam to Mexico and can't wait. Only our second cruise and the first real vacation in years!

Hi Cheshire2, Our cruise was fantastic. The food and service superb. The sea was calm and our excursion to Las Caletas out of PV was a highlight. I hope you and your wife have a wonderful time...MD

Cheshire2, Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. We lost power for awhile (5 days) here in Salem,Oregon. If you have any questions just ask. We set on early dining and it was perfect. We were actually hungry at that time as compared to late dining. We came off our trips to land and cleaned up and went to dinner and the show.....MD

Sounds fantastic! If I am not mistaken, this is supposed to be the first time the Oosterdam swings a little loser to Baja to where the whales are. This would be a highlight for my wife, she is nuts about the whales! Thanks for the replies.

We saw many whales and dolphin. I practically lived out on the balcony. We booked the spa pool and thermal suites for the week and I recomend it highly. Getting in the giant hot tub pool and relaxing on the heated ceramic lounges are wonderful. We also went to Hotel California and it was no big deal however on the bus ride back we saw alot of whale and they were really coming out of the water. Like I said in my previous post Las Caletas was fantastic...MD
