Default Hotel in Boston

Any suggestions on pre-cruise hotel in Boston? How far is the airport from the cruise pier?

We would be interested in this info also. So far we have only checked out the Embassy Suites right next to the airport. We can get them on our govt rate and they have a free shuttle. According to the map, the port looks close too but not sure if they shuttle there. If not, shouldn't be too much for a taxi.

The Airport Embassy suites is a great hotel. and a taxi to the port should not be too bad.
In fact I am cruising out of Miami Feb 4 and I am staying at the Embassy suites on Feb 2 at Logan, then flying to Miami the 3rd to stay the night before the cruise at the Four Ambassadors Suite hotel to cruise on the 4th.

As you board your ship you wiill have planes overhead landing at Logan...Logan Airport is not 5 minutes away.. you can take the water shuttle. There is a hotel nearby, the Seaport...which wth a long walk will take you to Fanuel Hall and the North End for the most fabulous Italian food

The airport is right under the tunnel from the ship terminal..;period.. Just If it is round trip from Boston see if there is free parking.. We stayed at the Howard Johnsons and left our car for free. there is even a water shuttle right to the airport from Black Falcon pier
