Default Cocoa Beach hotels

I am looking for a fairly cheap hotel in Cocoa that I would be able to leave my rental car for free while we go on a Disney cruise in Sept 2006. I don't want to have to pay another $10/day to park at the pier. Any ideas? Please advise. Thanks.

Shawn

I've stayed twice at the Hampton Inn on A1A about 3 miles away from the port. They have a nice pool, walkway to the beach and a complimentary continental breakfast.

I have also stayed at the Comfort Inn Suites but recommend asking for the newer section.

Many cruisers recommend the Radisson at the Port, the closest to the port. It is nice but very crowded on cruise morning.

Thanks Teresa. Those hotels offer free parking while we would be on our cruise?

I reread my message and forgot to say I've stayed at the Radisson also. Not sure about the free parking but I think they might have a "cruise package" and charge a few $ more but still less expensive than driving to the port. You can get more reviews on them at TripAdvisor.com too. Have fun planning.

Default Days Inn

Check out the Days Inn at Cocca Beach. They do have a park and Cruise plan and it is a decent place to stay. We stayed in Sept 2005 and were very happy with them.

We just got back from our trip on the Carnival Glory from the 8-15. We stayed at the Comfort Inn, and it was great. They do have a shuttle service that will take you to the port so you can leave your car there. After the cruise, the shuttle service (Art's Shuttle Service) will be holding up a sign and then take you back to the hotel. The hotel is also a short walk to the beach (across the street). It was a great option for us, and when we got to the hotel, we found out we had been upgraded to a suite.

Here's the website (cruise information page):

Just returned from a cruise on the Glory....we stayed at the Radisson Hotel, it was very nice, great pool. The special cruise package rate was $149/night but included a hot breakfast buffet for two people (omelettes made to order, bacon, sausage, french toast, etc.) and free parking for the week in a designated parking lot (this saves you $84 on a 7 night cruise) plus complimentary round-trip shuttle service to the pier (a 5 minute drive). You must make a reservation on the shuttle on your departure day....when you return, the shuttle's first pick up at the Port is at 8:00 a.m.
