Priceline question

We are a group of 4 flying into Miami from Ohio in Sept. 08. We will be flying in on Sat. to sail on Sunday. I was just on priceline and made a bid of $50.00 for a 4 star hotel in downtown Miami area. Does anyone know what hotel this might be and should I go ahead and book?

I'm thinking you could get anything. Your only in it for one night so might as well get the best price that you can.

I just tried to book a 4-star downtown Miami for $120.00 for August ,and I was declined. :o I started at $75.00 and have been increasing on every attempt. :o

I'm about ready just to book the Hyatt for $169.00 and be done with it.
If I got this right, a 4-star would be- Hyatt, or Intercontintal hotel.

Kuki - If I'm not right, help me out. (Kuki- is the king of Priceline )

I just got the Royal Palm in Miami Beach on Priceline for $100. ($118. with fees). I'm not sure if this is a good deal (Kuki?) but it is listed as 3-4*. At least it is just for one night so we will "roll with the punches" if we need to. I was rejected for a bid of $50. and $60. so if you get one for $50 you are probably ahead of the game.
